The transmission main serving the City of Yakima's West Yakima Irrigation system located within West Chestnut Avenue is an aging steel line that is leaking; causing water loss and property damage. With limited access for repairs, Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining of this transmission main is necessary. The CIPP repair work needs to be completed prior to the start of the 2023 irrigation season.
City staff used the State bidding process to advertise for competitive bids; selecting Insituform Technologies, LLC as the low bidder with the bid of $105,952.06. The Agreement is attached for City Council review in an amount not to exceed $105,952.06. The project is funded by the 479 Irrigation Improvement Fund. |
